Pag-asa…

Marahil nga’y kay sarap maidlip at ‘di na magising..

Lalo’t sanlaksa ang hirap at sakit sa dibdib..

Marahil nga’y kay sarap panawan ng bait kahit na sandali…

Namamanhid ang puso sa hapdi at kirot dulot ng sari-saring isipin…

Ang luha ay di na mapatid…

At ang bukas ay tila isa na namang nakahahapo at mabigat na pasanin…

Ngunit may sumpang binitiwan na ‘di ko kailan man ninasang talikuran..

Batid ko ang mabata, ang magtiis ay di naiiwasan,

Upang ang pangako mo’y aking makamtan….

Kaya’t sa tuwing tila’y umaandap na ang pag-asa…

Sa malawak mong langit yaring ulo’y itinitingala…

Alam kong mahahabag at lilingap ka Ama…

Habang sa tuwina’y nanganganlong at may pag titiwala sa iyo….

Marahil nga’y ang lahat ng ito’y aking babaunin

Nang marating ang langit mong tahanan na paraisong pinapangarap…

Pagka’t nais kang masilayan…

Makapiling ka sa ligayang wagas at ang hapis ay isa na lang nakalipas…

Ngunit may sumpang binitiwan na ‘di ko kailan man ninasang talikuran..

Batid ko ang mabata, ang magtiis ay di naiiwasan

Upang ang pangako mo’y aking makamtan….

Kaya’t sa tuwing tila’y umaandap na ang pag-asa…

Sa malawak mong langit yaring ulo’y itinitingala…

Alam kong mahahabag at lilingap ka Ama…

Habang sa tuwina’y nanganganlong at may pag titiwala sa iyo….

Bawat pagluha ay aariing yaman.

Bawat pait’t saklap ay aariing tamis.

Bawat alimura ay aariing puri

Bawat dusa’y yayakapin at ipagpapasalamat…

‘Pagkat sa tuwing tila’y umaandap na ang pag-asa…

Alam kong mahahabag at lilingap ka Ama…

Habang sa tuwina’y nanganganlong at may pag titiwala sa iyo….

Here I stand alone With this weight upon my heart And it will not go away In my head I keep on looking back Right back to the start Wondering what it was that made you change… Well I tried, But I had to draw the line… And still this question keeps on spinning in my mind What if I had never let you go, Would you be the man I used to know? If I’d stayed If you’d tried If we could only turn back time But I guess we’ll never know… Many roads to take Some to joy Some to heart-ache. Anyone can lose their way… And if I said that we could turn it back, Right back to the start, Would you take the chance and make the change… Do you think how it would have been sometimes? Do you pray that I’d never left your side? What if I had never let you go? Would you be the man I used to know? If I’d stayed, If you’d tried, If we could only turn back time… But I guess we’ll never know… If only we could turn the hands of time, If I could take you back would you still be mine, ‘Cos I tried But I had to draw the line, And still this question keep on spinning in my mind… What if I had never let you go? I miss the day I first met you

I have really been unsuspecting

That somehow you’ll be part of me

And take all of my loving…

I miss the day you said hello

And the touching warmth of your voice

I’ve always wanted being with you

If it can solely be my choice…

I miss the day I fell for you

I felt so different then

With those happy moments shared

All colors took us in…

I miss the day you said you love me

The day you held my hand

The first tight hug and kiss you gave

That sent my words a-strand…

I miss the day we had a fight

And that pain it caused me

The stories made for alibis

The lies I failed to see…

I miss the day we then agreed

To end up all that is between us

Warm I knelt beside my fireplace

When you chanced upon my door,

But the gust of cold you brought in

Swept the flames I fanned before…

I have regrets, O cold one:

Dusk has crept within my heart

Since the dying embers told me
